Wash Cold

30°C maximum for organic cotton and linen. Hot water breaks down fibres, fades dyes, and releases microplastics from any synthetic blends. Cold wash preserves colour, fit, and fibre integrity.

Use Organic Detergent

Meliora, Branch Basics, or Dirty Labs. Conventional detergents contain optical brighteners and synthetic fragrances that bond to fabric fibres and sit against skin after washing.

Line Dry When Possible

The tumble dryer is the single biggest cause of fabric deterioration. Line drying extends the life of every garment significantly — and eliminates the need for a dryer sheet.
